GenAI Reporting – Insights Summary for MSLs
Background
- MSLs lack access to a single dashboard with relevant cross-functional information as well as contextual insights and “To-Do” suggestions to effectively prep for KOL/HCP discussion
- MSLs visit multiple dashboards to get profile, affiliated account, peer, clinical, patient, and recent interactions information, mostly in quantitative format (vs contextual)
- MSLs also have to review detailed notes from their previous discussion with KOL/HCP to generate summary insights
- KBQs: How could we minimize MSLs time to access cross-functional information for upcoming KOL/HCP discussion? Could we provide contextual insights and “To-Do” suggestions?
Objective
Create integrated dashboard that provides cross-functional KPIs along with contextual insights and To-Do suggestions to MSLs in one-place- Integrated , one-stop Dashboard with HCP profile, affiliations, peer, clinical and patient related quantitative information
- GenAI enabled contextual summary for HCP profile, clinical interests, patient treatment approach, and insights from previous MSL discussion, and To-Do suggestions for upcoming discussion
Approach
Built and deployed an integrated, GenAI-enabled MSL dashboard with relevant KPIs and summary insights to prepare for KOL/HCP discussions:- Gathered requirements from MSL team
- Designed dashboard mockups and robust data model to support profile, affiliation, clinical, patient, prior engagement and other relevant KPIs
- Trained GenAI model to provide contextual insights around KOL/HCP profile, affiliations, clinical, and patient KPIs, and prior KOL discussion
- GenAI powered “To-Do” suggestions serves as a starting point for KOL/HCP discussions

- MSL saving 2-4 hours through GenAI-generated summary insights for prior KOL/HCP discussion based on detailed notes
